The article describes methods for determining the images of the owners and recipients of Russian e-mail logins. The basis for determining the images of the owner and his intended addressee is implicit information, the transmission of which may or may not correspond to the communicative intentions of the login owner. The theoretical basis for determining the image of the owner of the login is the theory of the points of view of the narrator of the literary text developed by B.A. Uspensky, in particular, the plan for choosing language means. The basis of determining the image of the addressee are the postulates of speech communication G.P. Grice, in particular, the postulates of the category of Method. It is shown that, in general, any nomination created by a person carries information about his personality.
