Paradoxically, the duality, or rather even the versatility of all globalization processes simultaneously acts as a catalyst for the development and degradation of public relations. While "traditional healthcare" has embarked on the path of digitalization, it has discovered new opportunities not only in terms of improving the quality of medical care, but also regarding the prospects for various kinds of deviant behavior - from open violations to borderline and veiled abuses by entities involved in the development, promotion, implementation and use of relevant innovations. In such conditions, it becomes relevant to study the mechanisms of criminal law deterrence of such threats, within which a special role belongs to the qualification of offenses related to restriction of competition, corruption, negligence, abuse of official authority, unlawful access to legally protected information, as well as embezzlement of budget funds. The Art. analyzes the modern problems of determining the direction of intent, determining individual elements of the objective side of a socially dangerous act, as well as issues of differentiation of professional and official powers of the perpetrators. Proposals have been formed on certain aspects of the legal assessment of official and economic crimes in the designated area.
