| The Roman Catholic and Russian Orthodox Churches, having common roots, attach great importance to education
based on Christian teaching. The educational projects of the Roman Catholic Church and its normative acts have influ
enced the development of the European intelligentsia and have been spread in various regions of the world. Despite
the differences in their normative acts, both churches maintain a common moral foundation. Papal encyclicals, with
their high moral authority, influence education and upbringing, serving as an example of "soft law" in international
practice. The legal consciousness of believers is shaped by these differences, reflecting different approaches to faith,
spiritual life, and church discipline. |
