| At present, cost saving is a major issue in many areas. It is less studied in terms of costs arising from lawmaking and
law enforcement by government bodies, as well as costs borne by individuals and legal entities. In this regard, the article
is devoted to the study of the essence of legal regulation costs, identifying its main features and aspects. The author ex
amines the concept of costs, points out the presence of regulatory costs and regulatory unfixed costs of legal regulation,
the latter of which are revealed through the relationship between government expenditures in connection with the per
formance of functions and the provision of services to citizens and budget revenues from taxes and duties. As a result,
the author formulates a definition of legal regulation costs, and also defines the functions they perform. |
