| Based on research into practices of imposing unnecessary goods, works, and services on consumers, and analysis of
the application of new legislation counteracting such practices, the Art. concludes that the legislation is imperfect and
that civil and administrative measures are insufficient to combat unfair commercial practices. In order to eliminate the
imbalance in retail trade relations that poses a threat to the country's sustainable socio-economic development, the au
thors propose to clarify the concept of “imposition” for use in civil, administrative, and criminal law. In addition, the
authors propose the creation of a system of cross-sectoral supervision and control in the retail trade, based on digital
interaction between entities. |
