| The article explores the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in forensic handwriting analysis, covering both handwriting examination and written language analysis. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various AI architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Siamese networks, GANs, transformers) for automating expert examinations, as well as to test the capabilities of generative pre-trained transformers (GPT) in text analysis tasks. The methodology included theoretical analysis of neural network models and practical experiments with GPT to identify grammatical, lexical, and stylistic features. Key findings revealed: the potential of hybrid models for handwriting analysis, significant limitations of GPT in error detection and classification, and partial applicability of AI for vocabulary assessment and stylistic analysis subject to expert verification. The conclusions emphasize the need for further optimization of AI methods and development of specialized tools for forensic examination. |
