The second half of the 19th century is known, among other things, for the wrecks of tsarist trains. In one case, the crash was linked to the activities of terrorist organizations, but in another case their involvement was not so obvious, although the theory of a terrorist attack was also considered. At the same time, regardless of the reasons, it is obvious that in both cases we are talking about a violation of transport security. And although the category "transport security" did not exist in the period under review, it is possible to talk about the circumstances that influenced the development of legal relations, which nowadays are understood as legal relations in the field of transport security.
