| The article is devoted to the issue of the influence of a philologist's worldview and background knowledge on their interpretation of a literary text. The material for the study is F.I. Tyutchev's poem «Madness» and its interpretations proposed by N.Ya. Berkovsky and V.S. Baevsky. The article uses general scientific methods (comparison, synthesis, and description) and linguistic methods (implicit information detection and component analysis). A comparative analysis of the interpretations of F.I. Tyutchev's poem proposed by V.S. Baevsky and N.Ya. Berkovsky allows us to conclude that there is a stable correlation between the recipient's background knowledge, the author's perceptual image reflected in the interpreter's worldview, and the final interpretation of the text. The recipient's background knowledge influences the interpretation of the text, which in turn affects the author's perceptual image, which in turn affects interpretations of the other texts is written by this author. |
