In this article, we propose a multiple-factor model for the analysis of development of the regions of the Russian Federation. The idea of building a territorial model is based on the methodology of a modified ABC-analysis, where the main characteristics include: the production of goods and services, the dynamics of production and the rating of innovation activity. The results of the analysis are of great practical importance for the development of the strategy aimed at strengthening the unity of the economic space and innovative development of our country.
