Social time is considered as one of the resources and the condition for volunteer activities. The use of different time resources by volunteers is reflected in their temporal behavior strategies. The aim of this work was to study the characteristics of the formation and implementation of temporal behavior strategies by volunteers in the context of three structural elements: cognitive, emotional and behavioral. We demonstrate the contradictions of temporal consciousness and temporal behavior of volunteers that arise in the transition from linear to nonlinear temporal mode of life. Research methodology was based on activity, community and temporal approaches. Our research method was a survey questionnaire that covered volunteers in the major Urals cities.
